You sure know how to get us to pray more. How many times were bikes “layed down” in that relatively short time? Continue to be safe and wise. Love keeping up on your journey. Excellent photos and videos
Wow!
We met you guys at a gas station further down the road. After seeing this your question whether we “also encountered that much mud” takes on a completely different quality. It is amazing what difference even a half day makes. It appears you were about a day ahead of us until the Ozarks. The aftermath of that storm triggered the eposide with my alternator that shut us down for four days in Tulsa. Then for the rest of Oklahoma we were trailing you guys on the highway to make up time. We saw the Oklahome storm coming up that evening and checked the rain radar. And it looked bad. So we decided to call it a day and check into a motel. The storm never reached us though. And by the time we got into the panhandle and re-joined the trail the mud was mostly gone. It was soft but settled in pretty much all places. Even with the heavy GS it was not a big problem.
