After leaving Moab, we made our way through the Utah desert including the narrow Black Dragon Canyon. It was beautiful! But it also kicked off a string of flats with a rusty nail :/
We made it through the Colorado mountains and into beautiful Moab for a day of rest and some new tires. And a return to much hotter weather!
Oklahoma was a piece of cake until we hit the mud.
Colorado sure has some pretty incredible passes! Also Caleb thought it would be a good idea to tie his jacket near his motorcycle’s rear sprocket…

Oklahoma sure was hot and flat! Thankfully New Mexico and Colorado are much cooler. And more mountainous. And they have trees. And the roads have curves. We appreciate all these things.
Oklahoma was long, and Kansas tried to kill us with a storm.
Oklahoma roads continue on and on. And on. And on. Also, we hit some gnarly mud.
We get stuck in a torrential downpour in the Ozark forest and ride seemingly endless dirt farm roads through Oklahoma.
