We actually chickened out at the fallen tree right after the first water crossing and went back and around on a short piece of highway before re-joining the trail. My uncle wanted to go for the “drag them through under” approach but I was not up for it at this point. We did go for it though the next day because not doing it would have meant backtracking a significant distance.

Hey Ralf! Good to hear from you. Yes it was quite some work dragging the bikes under the tree. I can’t imagine trying to do it with a GS! Good work.
